From the recording Dr Kevin
Today, we have a very special guest on Out of the Closet, T. Thorn Coyle.
T. Thorn Coyle is a Magic Worker, Mystic, and Pagan. An internationally respected teacher and author, her work focuses on the alchemy that occurs when we open ourselves fully to our humanity in our quest for Divine Knowledge. In combining art and science, magic and mystery, body and soul, practice and ecstasy, she has created a unique body of work that has touched the lives of many seekers, artists, activists, parents and other change-makers. In Part 1 of this discussion, Thorn tells us about her spiritual journey and how it was shaped by her gender fluidity and need to follow her own path. Thorn and Dr. Kevin discuss the role that gender plays in spirituality and our understanding of God/Goddess. Does God have a gender? Is God asexual, androgynous, or the first hermaphrodite? And why are so many people in today’s modern society afraid of gender and sexual differences and fluidity when it was accepted and understood to be a normal part of life in tribal cultures around the world? Tune in next week for Part 2!
