When we keep stuffing all our unhappy emotions in a "junk drawer," we can eventually reach a point where we encounter what feels like a death of self, or a Dark Night of the Soul. Dr. Kevin talks about an experience he had several years ago when he came to a Dark Night of the Soul where he closed his business, left a long term relationship, and had to exercise for 2 or 3 hours a day to just to release all the suppressed energy.
